Angeles City, Pampanga — Local developers Timog Silangan Development Corporation (Timog) and Hausland Development Corporation (Hausland) have donated a 626 sqm lot to the City Government of Angeles for the construction of a modern two-story police station in Barangay Pampang here.
This is part of their corporate social responsibility program to help in making Angeles City safe and secure for its constituents.
“This is not the first time na nagdonate po ng lupa ang Lazatin family. Matagal na po itong tradisyon. And we continue that tradition today. Nararapat lamang po na unahin natin ang mga nangangalaga sa ating seguridad, ang ating mga kapulisan,” said Hausland Group Chief Executive Officer Atty. Christopher Ryan T. Tan during the groundbreaking event on Thursday.
Inside the fully air-conditioned station is the lobby, information area, admin office, investigator’s office and detention lobby with male and female detention cells. It will also boast a landscaped facade with spacious parking space. On the second floor are the officers quarters and office of the station chief with an armory area, storage room, conference room, waiting area, and toilet and bathroom.
Moreso, Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting extended her gratitude to the Lazatins for their ‘generosity, vision and foresight, and love for the community.’
“If only the Lazatins have given up this land during the Pinatubo eruption, wala po tayo dito. Sino po ba ang magaakala na magiging one of the business districts ang lugar na ito,” Cabigting added.
Present at the breaking ceremony held Thursday were Timog Directors Mario Trinidad “Tito” Lazatin, Atty. Pamela Lazatin, Melo Lazatin, Cecile Lazatin, Hausland Group Chief Executive Officer Atty. Christopher Ryan T. Tan, Assistant Treasurer Mary Jane T. Glinoga, Hausland Chief Operating Officer Glenn Martin T. Glinoga and Fiesta Communities, Inc (FIESTA) COO Patrick John T. Tan. They were accompanied by Angeles City Executive Assistant V Rafael L. Angeles and Deputy Regional Director for Administration PLtCol Deonido Maniago.
Hausland and Timog are known co-developers of several iconic subdivision projects namely Timog Residences Subdivision, Timog Park Homes, Hanin Town Subdivision, and the soon to open commercial district near the new Police Station 5.
