Sen. Lawrence “Bong” Go on Thursday continued visiting the province of Bulacan where he distributed relief and cash assistance to typhoon victims in Paombong town and Malolos City.
The senator from Davao City has assured Bulakenyos of the continuous government’s infra projects in the province.
Go said some of these projects were the Gregorio Del Pilar National High School in the Bulakan town, construction of high-school building in Pandi, construction of two dams, muti-purpose building in Guiguinto, basketball court in City of Malolos, a day care center in Pulilan, a 4-storey multi-purpose building in City of Meycauayan, aside from the P734 billion airport in the town of Bulakan.
“I am not a politician, who will make promises to you. But I and President Duterte will continue to serve you with the best of our ability,” said Go.
“Konting tiis lang po. Sumunod po muna tayo sa gobyerno. Huwag kayong mag-alala kapag meron ng safe na vaccine laban sa COVID-19 declared by FDA, uunahin ang lahat ng mahihirap dito para makabalik na tayo sa normal na buhay,” Sen. Go added.
Go and his staff distributed meals, food packs, vitamins, mask and face shields, to the 415 Malolenyos and 57 recepients in Paombong, who were victims of typhoon Ulysses.
The senator was accompanied by representatives of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Dapartment of Trade and Industry and National Housing Authority.
“Alam ko na hirap na kayo ngayong pandemya. Hirap na rin kami ng Pangulong Duterte, pero kailangan naming magtrabaho . Kayo ang inspirasyon namin ng pangulo,” Sen. Go said.
Go’s team also provided 25 bicycles to selected recipients and others were given computer tablets for their online classes as part of their blended learning being implemented in schools.
He also encouraged the Bulakenyos to use and avail of the benefits of the Malasakit Center located at the Bulacan Medical Center in Malolos and at the Dr Rogaciano Hospital in Sta, Maria.
The Malasakit Center is a one-stop shop for getting medical subsidy from the different government agencies.
Sen. Go had already extended relief and cash assistance to 14 towns and cities in Bulacan, including Calumpit, Marilao, Hagonoy, Bocaue, Meycauayan City, Bustos, Plaridel, Norzagaray, Pandi, Baliwag, Sta Maria and Guiguinto.
