More than 3K benefitted from CDC, locators CSR project

CLARK FREEPORT— More than 3,000 people, mostly Aetas, benefitted from the gift-giving project spearheaded by Clark Development Corporation (CDC) recently in partnership with some locators here.

In a report submitted by the External Affairs Department (EAD) to CDC President-CEO Noel F. Manankil, a total of 3,120 beneficiaries from various nearby communities in Pampanga and Tarlac received donations from CDC and some partner-locators inside the Freeport.

Among those who benefited are 2,751 indigenous people (IPs) during the simultaneous distribution held at the various sitios of Baguingan, Gayaman, Kaging, Mabilog, Mataba, Malasa, Baras, San Martin, Sitio Burog, Sta. Rosa, Quadra, San Vicente, and Batchon  all in Bamban, Tarlac

Other beneficiaries are from Sitios Bilad, Pulang Lupa, Calapi, Haduan, Madapdap, and Monicayo in all Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

They received assorted grocery products, toiletries, clothes, and school supplies. 

Likewise, beneficiaries from Munting Tahanan ng Nazareth, an orphanage in Mabalacat City, also received the donations. 

The Reception and Study Center for Children (RSC) in Prado Siongco and Sta. Cruz Elementary School at Sta. Cruz, Lubao, and Bahay Pag-ibig in Telebastagan in the City of San Fernando in Pampanga, Children’s Joy Foundation Inc. in San Fernando, Pampanga, and Sitio Pader in Angeles City also benefited from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of the state-owned firm. 

Other partners who also supported the project are Genesis Transport Inc., Pishon Clark Phils. Inc., Citicore Power Inc., Alliance Mansols Inc., Subic Duty-Free Shop Inc., Sutherland Clark, and Deras Global Services among others.

The Philippine Air Force, 302nd Maneuver Company 3rd Platoon Base Phil., Unit 2320 from BFPD, Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM), Mining Coop and Rotary Club of Kuliat, Angeles City also extended their support during the said project.
