CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — An unidentified motorcycle riding suspect was killed in a COMELEC checkpoint manned by Pandi PNP in Barangay Masuso, Pandi, Bulacan on Monday night.
Investigation showed that gun fight occurred in a COMELEC checkpoint manned by Pandi Police when a speeding motorcycle riding in tandem evaded the police checkpoint.
A brief chase followed as the back rider engaged the lawmen in a fire fight which resulted to his death while the driver managed to escape.
Recovered from the crime scene were six plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” and one caliber 38. Smith and Wesson revolver.
A follow-up operation was immediately conducted for the possible arrest of the fleeing suspect.
In Guiguinto Police, two drug peddlers were arrested while selling illegal drugs to an undercover agent in Brgy. Tabang, Guiguinto also on Monday afternoon.
The suspects were identified as Alejandro Dulatre, 46, married. and Glenn De Guzman, 36, married, tricycle driver, both are residents of Brgy. Sta Cruz, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
Confiscated from their possession were three plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory for appropriate examination, while criminal charges against them are now being prepared for filing in court.
