MRO firm in Clark is People Program of the Year Nat’l Awardee

CLARK FREEPORT— An international maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider in this Freeport was recently recognized as the People Program of the Year National Awardee for supporting a sustainable program that creates a harmonious working environment for its employees.

By valuing their pool of manpower as their most important asset and by initiating the creation of an employee-related and business-related program dubbed as “360 Degrees Challenge to Life Program,” the SIA Engineering Philippines (SIAEP) was bestowed the People Program of the Year Award given by the globally-acknowledged People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP).

The said distinction is being conferred to a company or an organization who promotes a relevant, unique, and innovative program which is designed to provide meaningful contribution and enhance employee – employer relationship and meet specific needs for industry.

Launched to synergize employee and business-based initiatives, the 360 Degrees Challenge to Life Program by SIAEP is a sustainable program that focuses on culture-building, career development, and nurturing diversity within their organization.

SIAEP was the first company in Luzon and in Clark to be awarded as the Regional Winner with the same distinction last May 2019 and again accorded the National level award in Cebu this year.

During the 43rd PMAP Awards, PMAP National President Gerardo Plana with PMAP former President Edgardo Soriano and PMAP President – Pampanga Chapter Louisa Mila Echevarria handed the award to SIAEP Deputy General Manager Rene Philip Banzon with former SIAEP General Manager Abu Bakar Bin Kunji Mohamed and SIAEP Manager-Human Resources, Admin and Legal Joyce Manansala. They were also joined by PMAP-Exec. Director, PMAP Board of Judges-National Level Atty. Ma. Anthonette Allones and Former Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary, PMAP Board of Judges-National Level Atty. Bienvenido Laguesma.
