PAMPANGA, Philippines – The Nanay Partylist, led by Atty. Jun Canlas and under the guidance of Congresswoman Florabel Yatco, visited flood-affected communities in Bacolor, Pampanga, in coordination with the Provincial Government headed by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda.
During the visit, the team met with local mayors to assess the situation of displaced residents and ensure a coordinated response. They also coordinated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to deliver 10,000 food packs to families affected by recent typhoons.
With the support of Governor Pineda, the group has already distributed drinking water and meals to evacuees staying in temporary shelters.
Relief operations are ongoing as local and national agencies continue to respond to the widespread flooding in Pampanga.
