SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — The Naval Operating Base (NOB) Press Corps formally inducted its new officers in a ceremony held at the Subic Sports Center on Tuesday afternoon, March 26. Commander Dennis S. Rosuello PN (GSC), Acting Chief of Fleet Service for Civil-Military Operations (F7), administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers, emphasizing the crucial role of media in fostering transparency within naval operations.

Leading the NOB Press Corps is its newly sworn-in president, joined by Vice President Ruben Veloria. The board of directors includes Dolly Mose, Julie Sionzon, and Percival Rojas, with Malou Dungo serving as secretary. The event gathered media and naval representatives, highlighting the collaboration between the press and the military in strengthening public information efforts.
Key figures in attendance included Commander Randy Garbo, director of the Fleet Public Affairs Office (FPAO); Bishop Rosendo Nozuelo; Central Luzon Media Association (CLMA) regional president Deng Pangilinan; and CLMA Olongapo-Zambales chapter president Dante Salvaña. Their presence underscored the importance of media engagement in promoting awareness and understanding of maritime affairs.
