GUAGUA, Pampanga—A newly constructed Fruits and Vegetable Section at the Guagua Public Market was formally inaugurated on Wednesday, marking another milestone in the local government’s push to enhance livelihood opportunities and improve market infrastructure.

Governor Pineda described the development as “a testament to the administration’s commitment to uplift the lives of everyday Guaguaeños,” particularly market vendors and pushcart sellers who rely on daily income from selling fresh produce.

The new section features an organized, well-ventilated, and hygienic layout aimed at delivering a better experience for both vendors and consumers. In addition, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) provided free food stands to qualified micro-entrepreneurs, further supporting small-scale vendors in the municipality.
