New Marine Corps HQ rises in Bataan

MORONG, Bataan – A new chapter for the Philippine Marine Corps is taking shape as members of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Board of Directors, led by Chairperson Larry Paredes and President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang, inspected the soon-to-be-completed Marine Corps Headquarters inside the expansive Morong Discovery Park.

The BCDA officials toured the facilit, noting that the headquarters’ facade is on schedule to be completed by the end of July. Also part of the site visit was a walkthrough of other key infrastructure components, including a newly built grandstand.

The Morong development is part of a broader plan to provide the Marine Corps with a modern, strategic, and fully integrated base of operations. BCDA emphasized that this milestone reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing the country’s defense capabilities through infrastructure modernization.

The headquarters in Morong is expected to play a pivotal role in military readiness, logistics, and training for the Marines — a shift seen as aligning with national security priorities and regional stability efforts.
