Tomorrow, June 29, the newly-renovated Back 9 of the Mountainview Course will open to the public. The caddies at Mimosa Plus Golf Course got first dibs to play in the improved course.
Nelson & Haworth led the renovation plans, in partnership with Green Dynasty, which is managing construction on all 36 holes. BGC Philbuilder, who is working on the Mountainview course, and Netforce International, working on the Acacia Lakeview course, are the contractors tapped for this project.
On your play day, expect the following improvements – New visually striking course bunkers and greens. Trinity and Zeon Zoysia grass on greens and surrounds, which is a sustainable type of grass requiring less water and chemicals. A new Rain Bird irrigation system will also encourage a more sustainable golf course and a modernized system in managing water consumption.
