
ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – Fresh from their election win, the newly elected officers of the Philippine Councilors’ League (PCL) – Pampanga Chapter, led by President Maynard Tadeo Lapid of Porac, paid a courtesy visit to businessman and philanthropist Rodolfo “Tatay Bong” Pineda on Tuesday evening at Osaka Japanese Restaurant.
“Maraming salamat po, Tay, sa suporta ninyo,” Lapid told Pineda during the visit, held after the polls at Kingsborough International Convention Center.
Lapid secured the presidency with 192 votes, defeating City of San Fernando Councilor Reggie “G4” David, who garnered 12 votes. A total of 207 councilors from across the province participated in the elections.

Other officers elected were Vice President Rolando Dueñas Balingit (185 votes), Secretary General Mark Louie Tongol Arceo (180), Treasurer Jerome Ian Sumang Gaddi (187), Auditor Edith Velasquez Kabigting (182), Public Relations Officer Renato Quiambao Gopez (180), and Business Manager Patricia Anne Acorda (165).
Federation Directors elected were Venacio S. Macapagal (174), Donaldo Kabigting III (172), Joan Manugue Carreon (170), Nelson David Dizon (170), Renz Louie Matic Canlas (169), Michael Angelo T. Lopez (168), Allen Maglalang Dungo (167), and Jennifer Navarro Macalino (165).
Lapid will also serve as an ex-officio board member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
