SAN JOSE, Tarlac — Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco and National Irrigation Administration Administrator Ricardo Visaya recently led the time capsule laying for the P5.7 billion Balog-Balog dam in Barangay Maamot.
“This new irrigation facility was designed to irrigate more than 34,000 hectares of agricultural lands in the province of Tarlac,” Visaya disclosed.
It is also eyed to produce 43.5 megawatts of electricity.
