“I hate to say this ,but I feel Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific’s management are not doing their best to be of better service to their passengers. I am saying this based on my personal experiences. I have a feeling that they are more concerned about the bottom line figures on how much profit per quarter of their operations they make, rather than address mounting complaints against delayed and cancelled flights. I am pretty sure at least 10 or 20 who may happen to read this article and traveled with these two airline companies most likely suffered already the inconvenience of a delayed flight.”
The above paragraph was an observation I wrote in my earlier articles. The two airline companies may have improved their operations and did their best. But it seems their best is not enough.
Local travel will remain worrisome, and experiencing delays and cancellations are likely to occur until such time that the underutilized Clark International Airport be integrated in the proposed dual operation with the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
There was already a pronouncement made by President Duterte during his State of the Nation Address (SONA) for some airlines to move some of their operations in Clark Airport. Spoken before the joint session of Congress and millions of people listening, that’s already a marching order. Now again, why the delay in implementing a presidential policy? The Department of Transportation should now act immediately on this and airline companies should cooperate.
Delays pa more?
