MAYANTOC, Tarlac — About 2,000 residents of Mayantoc town benefitted from the “All-In-One Bayanihan” community-based activity of Armed Forces of the Philippines Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM).
“This highlights the Bayanihan initiatives of NOLCOM and other stakeholders, particularly Go Share Foundation, to further reach out to the populace especially those who are in need within its area of responsibility,” NOLCOM Public Information Officer Major Ericson Bulosan said.
Services provided include free medical and dental check-up, food cart services and livelihood support, and distribution of school supplies and wheel chairs.
“We conducted a similar activity in remote and underdeveloped areas in Regions 1,2, 3 and Cordillera where basic services are in need to alleviate the suffering of the people,” he added.
“Aside from our mandate to protect and secure the people and national territory, NOLCOM will continue to pursue its non-traditional role of providing support to national development in order to uplift the lives of the Filipino people,” Bulosan furthered.
