TARLAC CITY — Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) received 4,500 bottles of multivitamins from the Armed Forces of the Philippines Officers Ladies Club Incorporated (AFPOLCI).
The donation of AFPOLCI was given through Mrs. Consuelo Lourdes Rey, wife of NOLCOM Commander LtGen. Ramiro Manuel Rey.
“We cannot afford to lose a soldier now, as much as we are looking out for the safety of our citizens. NOLCOM is also looking for ways to ensure the health and safety of our soldiers who are deployed on the frontlines,” LtGen. Rey said.
The vitamins will be distributed to NOLCOM troopers and other frontline workers to improve their immune system to fully perform duties as the country continues its battle against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“Our troopers are at stake in the frontlines but your generosity gives us the armor to continue performing our duties so that we can serve well, our people much more so in this COVID-19 crisis that we are facing,” Rey added.
