Novotel Manila Araneta Center has welcomed Mike Brown as its new general manager.
Brown’s expertise as a hotelier spans for over 30 years throughout various global hotel brands in Europe and across the Asia Pacific region.
The newest general manager brings with him a solid mastery of hotel operations being able to start his career as a management trainee in Holiday Inns Menzies, Sydney, and over time and experience progressed into opening up a number of hotels, which includes the five-star Pullman Vung Tau and Conference Centre in Vietnam.
Prior to his new post, Brown was the General Manager of Novotel Gangnam and Director of Operations for Accor South Korea comprising sixteen operating hotels and overseeing possible future hotel openings in the country.
A passionate and mentoring hotelier, Brown started his journey as part of AccorHotels in 2010 when he became the Area Manager in Auckland and General Manager at Novotel and Ibis Ellerslie in New Zealand.
