NPA rebel surrenders in Bulacan 

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS —  A member of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA)  surrendered to the Bulacan in the City of Malolos, Bulacan on September 5, 2023. 

Bulacan police commander Col. Relly Arnedo said alias “Ka Boy,” 40, a construction worker and member of Rebolusyonaryong Hukbong Bayan (RHB) operating in the coastal areas of Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, and Zambales, has surrendered to authorities at Camp Alejo S Santos in Bgy. Guinhawa, Malolos, Bulacan.

Arnedo said “Ka Boy” was convinced to join the rebel group for government reform to attain equal rights and avoid social injustice.

The Force Commander, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and elements of the 1st PMFC, Bulacan PIU, 2nd PMFC, 301st MC RMFB, 24th SAC, 2SAB PNP SAF, and 70IB PA, had facilitated the surrender of “Ka Boy” on September 5

 “Ka Boy,” who also turned over an unlicensed cal. 38 and five .38 live bullets, is now under the custody of the 1st PMFC for investigation and custodial debriefing.
