Old lady scavenger thanks VG for prompt medical help

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A 72-year-old scavenger from Floridablanca who collapsed during the cash distribution activity at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center (BZGCC) here was immediately given medical attention through the orders of Vice Governor Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda.

The old lady was identified as Gloria Lozano.

Pineda immediately called the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) of San Fernando to monitor the health condition of Lozano.

Pineda urged Lozano to go to the nearest hospital, but she refused.

Instead Lozano said, “Okay na po ako. Salamat po sa pagaasikaso at tulong niyo.” (I’m okay now. Thank you very much for your help.”)

The vice governor made sure that Lozano is sent home.

This was assured by Povincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) head Angie Blanco.

Pineda also asked his staff to personally visit Lozano to check on her health condition. –Leah Isidro De Fiesta
