ORANI, Bataan — Municipal government asks for public cooperation as African Swine Fever (ASF) reached Orani.
Mayor Efren Pascual Jr. confirmed that a backyard farm in Sitio Masapsap, Barangay Bayan tested positive to the disease after the conduct of tests.
“As of today, we continue to gather information and take measures so we can prevent its spread,” Pascual said.
The official asks his constituents to provide information on incidents involving sudden death of pigs in the town.
“We also advise everyone to be careful with the pork you buy especially if it does not come from our market,” Pascual added.
