HERMOSA, Bataan – Police operatives of Hermosa MPS headed by Acting Police Chief, Senior Inspector Phoe Pangan on Saturday night arrested two alleged big time drug pushers from Orani town.
Phoe identified the arrested suspects as Romeo Sarte, 50, and Rodel Salonga, 44, both are residents of Orani, Bataan.
In a report from Senior Inspector Eric Manuel, deputy chief of police here, stated that the operation in Barangay Palihan, Hermosa resulted to the confiscation of 5 medium sized heat-sealed sachets and one small sachet of suspected methampetamine hydrochloride or shabu and a P1000 bill used as marked money.
The confiscated illegal drugs have a market value of almost P50,000.
One of the suspects is a former OFW while the other one was just recently released from the district jail with related illegal drugs case.
They will be charged with Violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
