Bataan First District Representative Geraldine Roman on Thursday gave cash assistance to the victims of a dawn fire that razed 24 houses in Barangay Pantalang Bago in Orani town last Wednesday.
Report from the Bureau of Fire Protection stated the fire started at 12:05am and was put down at 2:16am.
Each beneficiary received P5000 cash as initial assistance to the victims, Dr. Boyet Castañeda, one of Congresswoman Roman’s key staff, told this reporter.
Meanwhile, Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton also sent sacks of rice for the victims.
Billy Ventura, chief of staff of Orani Mayor Efren Pascual, Jr., in an earlier interview said the LGU Orani will give P10,000 to each affected family.
