ORANI, Bataan – “No segregation no accommodation.”
This phrase summarizes the Memorandum of Agreement signed by Orani Mayor Efren Dominic E. Pascual Jr. and ECONEST Waste Management Corporation President Atty. Beulah Coeli C. Fiel in a simple ceremony yesterday at the Orani Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Gallery here.
Atty. Fiel said the agreement focuses mainly on the proper solid waste disposal of this municipality to Hermosa Sanitary Landfill Facility in Barangay Mambog, Hermosa, Bataan.
A few weeks earlier, Samal LGU signed the same agreement with ECONEST led by Samal Municipal Mayor Gene M. Dela Fuente.
Other local officials of Orani composed of elected officials and employees from the municipal government and all barangays or village officials attended the occasion.
Pascual added that this good practice in solid waste management in the long run will benefit everyone for a cleaner and greener environment in line with the municipality’s vision to be the top tourism destination in the region.
The only way that you can move towards sustainable development is through proper solid waste management. Fiel said.
