ANGELES CITY, Philippines — Pampanga’s growing culinary scene welcomed a new addition this week with the opening of Osaka Japanese Restaurant, a spacious and inviting venue tucked inside the TopG 2 Building along Friendship Highway.

Promising an authentic taste of Japan, Osaka offers a curated menu of traditional dishes—from meticulously crafted sushi and sashimi to steaming bowls of ramen and udon. With its clean lines, warm lighting, and minimalist décor, the restaurant delivers a cozy yet elegant setting that invites diners to slow down and savor.

The 100-seat establishment opened Thursday with a special one-day promotion offering 50 percent off all food and beverages on July 18. The response was swift, with early patrons lining up for a chance to sample the flavors of Tokyo and Osaka without leaving Central Luzon.

“We’re proud to bring a slice of Japan to Angeles,” said Chef Don who helms the restaurant alongside a kitchen staff trained in Japanese culinary methods. “It’s about authenticity, but also about creating a welcoming space for families, friends, and solo diners alike.”

Open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the restaurant features ample seating, including private booths and group tables, as well as spacious parking facilities for visiting guests.

As Pampanga continues to establish itself as a regional food capital, Osaka Japanese Restaurant joins a growing list of international-inspired establishments seeking to cater to both local tastes and global palates.
