CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga — Overall occupancy rate of about 200 hospitals and treatment facilities in Central Luzon for COVID-19 patients is still below 50 percent.
This was disclosed by Regional Task Force on COVID-19 (RTF 3) Chairperson and Office of Civil Defense Regional Director Maria Theresa Escolano during the visit of the Coordinated Operations to Defeat Epidemic Team of the National Task Force led by Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.
“Based on the report of Department of Health, all beds for COVID and non-COVID cases have already exceeded the 30% Safe Zone. Use of mechanical ventilators, however, is still within the safe zone at 20.59%,” she furthered.
Meanwhile, RTF 3 Management of the Dead Cluster reported that 64 repatriated human remains have arrived from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as of September 7. They were referred to funeral parlors, crematoriums and other burial sites in the region including burial facilities for Muslim.
