CAMP OLIVAS — Angeles City police officers on Friday arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized more than P102,000 worth shabu during a buy-bust operation in Angeles City on August 19.
Angeles City police chief Col. Rommel Batangan said joint operatives from the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU) and Police Station 4 conducted an entrapment on Garcia St., Mt View Subd., Balibago, resulting in the arrest of Antonio dela Cruz, 42; and Leonila Dungca, 42; both of 1659 Garcia St., Mountain View.
Confiscated items from the two were four plastic sachets of shabu weighing 15 grams of shabu valued at P102,000.00.
The two suspects will be charged with violation of propriate charges for violation of RA 9165.
“With the constant arrest and neutralization of illegal drug personalities in the region, illegal drug traders will have less opportunity to propagate illegal drugs,” said PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon.
