DASMARIñAS CITY, CAVITE — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA Pampanga has arrested a big-time drug peddler and his three cohorts who yielded some P3,400,000 worth of shabu in an entrapment operation at a mall open parking area here.
The PDEA Pampanga identified the suspects as Hedwig Ramos alias “Jake,” 40, of 245 Bgy. San Nicolas 1st, Lubao, Pampanga; Ryan Comerciante alias “Victor,” 43, of 218 Tindalo Sagad St., Bgy. Sta. Clara, Sta. Maria, Bulacan; Mark Angelo Marasigan, 36, of Zone 6 Pantalan St., Bgy. Malaban, Biñan City, Laguna; and Lester Ramos, 37, of 2484 Brgy. 152 Apelo Cruz Malibay, Pasay City.
PDEA said Ramos was the operation’s principal target who is involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in the City of San Fernando and nearby towns in Pampanga.
“We were able to secure a drug deal with Ramos for the purchase of 500 grams of shabu and agreed to meet in San Fernando, Pampanga. When we reached the meet up place in Pampanga, Ramos called and instructed the undercover agent to meet him in a mall parking lot in Dasmariñas City until their arrest,” the PDEA said.
Combined elements of PDEA Pampanga and PDEA Calabarzon have confiscated from the suspects five knot tied transparent plastic bags containing more or less 500 grams of shabu valued at P3,400,000 and the marked money.
The suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165.
