PAMPANGA, Philippines – Philippine Air Force (PAF) Commanding General Lieutenant General Arthur M. Cordura met with fighter pilots of the 5th Fighter Wing at Basa Air Base, Floridablanca, on March 7, expressing condolences for the recent loss of two pilots in the line of duty.
Cordura, joined by Major General Fabian M. Pedregosa, Air Defense Command chief, and Brigadier General Leo A. Fontanilla, 5th Fighter Wing commander, assured the fighter pilot community of the PAF’s unwavering support. He lauded their role in national security and recognized four pilots for their contributions to recent military operations in Bukidnon.
The PAF Chief urged pilots to uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and integrity, ensuring that the sacrifice of their fallen comrades would not be in vain.
