Pampanga cops nab 3 HVIs, seize P2-M drugs

PAMPANGA, Philippines – Authorities seized over P2 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested three high-value individuals (HVIs) in a buy-bust operation in Mabalacat City on Tuesday, July 2.

The Pampanga Police Provincial Office, led by officer-in-charge Colonel Eugene M. Marcelo, said the operation was part of its intensified anti-illegal drug campaign.

According to Mabalacat City police chief Lt. Col. Efren N. David Jr., the suspects—aged 24, 25, and 28—were caught in Brgy. Bical with two kilograms of suspected dried cannabis, 520 grams of Kush, 218 marijuana-flavored vapes, and 19 vials of marijuana oil.

The seized items have a combined street value of approximately P2 million.

Police vowed continued efforts to crack down on illegal drug activities in the province.
