Pampanga distributes 29 mini dump trucks to LGUs

PAMPANGA, PHILIPPINES — The provincial government of Pampanga distributed 29 mini dump trucks to various municipalities and barangays in a continuing effort to strengthen solid waste management, particularly in far-flung areas.

Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda led the turnover ceremony, joined by Acting Vice Governor Kaye Naguit, Macabebe Mayor Bobong Flores, Floridablanca Mayor Michael Galang, Arayat Mayor Jeffrey Luriz, and Guagua Vice Mayor Jun Lim. Also present were barangay captains from Lubao, Floridablanca, Guagua, Magalang, Sta. Ana, Masantol, Minalin, Macabebe, Apalit, Arayat, and Candaba.

“This is for your communities. Take care of these dump trucks entrusted to you,” Pineda reminded the beneficiaries, emphasizing the role of local leaders in environmental upkeep.

The distribution, part of the province’s broader environmental agenda, aims to improve garbage collection and transport systems at the grassroots level.

The initiative was carried out in coordination with the Provincial Government-Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) led by Engr. Arthur Punsalan and the General Services Office (GSO) under Francis Maslog, alongside other Capitol officials.

Pineda’s administration continues to push for a more sustainable and efficient waste management system, reinforcing its commitment to a “malinis, maayos, at luntiang Pampanga.”
