CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The province of Pampanga is once again putting its rich culinary and agricultural heritage on full display as it prepares to host the 3rd Manyaman Festival and Filipino Food Month Celebration from April 23 to 29.
Organized by the Arts, Culture and Tourism Office of Pampanga, the week-long festival promises a vibrant mix of food expos, farm tours, cook-offs, and cultural events celebrating Kapampangan identity and innovation.
“This celebration highlights the rich and diverse culinary identity and prowess of the Kapampangan people,” the tourism office said.
Kicking off the festivities on April 23 is Kapampangan: A Kapampangan Food Exposition at Rainwater Park, Megaworld Capital Town. The event will showcase iconic local dishes and homegrown products from across the province.
From April 23 to 25, an Agri-Business Trade Fair will also be held at Rainwater Park, spotlighting the work of local farmers, food entrepreneurs, and agri-based businesses.
Farmers and tourists alike will get a chance to explore the province’s agricultural bounty through Ing Bie Marangle, a farm tour and immersion experience running from April 25 to 28. Participating farms include Diaspora Farm Resort, GrassRoots & Co., St. Isidore the FARMer, and R.O. Valerio Integrated Farm.
On April 29, the Ortelano at Ing Asikan Farmers’ Congress at Benigno Aquino Hall will gather local agricultural stakeholders to discuss best practices and future strategies for Pampanga’s farming sector.
Also happening on the 29th is Manyaman Pampanga: A Grand Cook-Off at SM City Pampanga Event Center, where Kapampangan chefs and cooks will face off in a culinary battle blending tradition with innovation.
Adding a creative twist to the festival is the launch of CUISINEMA: Pampanga Short Film Festival—a film event dedicated to storytelling through food, giving audiences a taste of the people and narratives behind Pampanga’s famous flavors.
Now on its third year, the Manyaman Festival continues to position Pampanga as a hub for food, culture, and sustainable tourism, while uplifting local communities and preserving its world-renowned culinary heritage.
