
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Hundreds of residents in Barangay Lara gathered early to take part in Kapitolyo sa Barangay, a community outreach initiative led by Vice Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda and former Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab.

Among them was Madonna Cura, whose daughter Crystal, a civil engineering student, is a beneficiary of Pampanga’s educational financial assistance program. Cura expressed her gratitude, saying, “The best po sila sa serbisyo hindi namin sila ipagpapalit”.
A total of 647 Fernandinos joined the event, where officials checked on residents’ concerns and provided cash assistance and food packs to those in need.

Vice Governor Pineda also shared details about various provincial government programs aimed at supporting education, healthcare, and livelihood.

The initiative reflects the Pampanga provincial government’s commitment to delivering direct services to local communities.
Officials assured residents that more assistance programs and barangay outreach activities are in the pipeline to address grassroots needs.
