CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – More than 800 Kapampangan women, including VAWC Desk Officers, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and cancer patients received assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Provincial Government of Pampanga in celebration of International Women’s Month, on Monday, March 10.
Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo led the distribution of assistance in ceremonies held at Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center to extend their unwavering support and appreciation for the women of Pampanga.
Each beneficiary received ₱3,000 under DSWD’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, along with food packs and hygiene kits from the Provincial Government.
Also present were Board Members Fritzie David-Dizon, Sajid Khan Eusoof, Atty. Claire Lim, Cherry Manalo, Pol Balingit, and Special Assistant to the Governor Angelina Blanco.
The event highlights the administration’s commitment to women empowerment, ensuring every woman has a voice, place, and opportunity to thrive.
