
STA. RITA, PAMPANGA—Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda visited Sta. Rita for the Kapitolyo sa Barangay program, delivering food and cash assistance to local residents. The initiative, aimed at bringing government services closer to communities, gathered 3,017 residents from ten barangays, who also engaged in discussions about provincial programs and initiatives.

Among those present were Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Board Members Ananias Canlas Jr., Fritzie David Dizon, and Sajid Eusoof, as well as local officials, including Mayor Arthur Salalila and members of the Sangguniang Bayan. Representatives from the General Services Office (GSO), Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), and Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO) also joined the event.

Residents expressed gratitude for the assistance, with Marivic David of San Matias highlighting the consistent support from the provincial government. The Kapitolyo sa Barangay program continues to extend aid and essential services to Pampanga communities, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and social welfare.
