GUAGUA, Pampanga – Pampanga residents battling kidney disease now have access to free dialysis treatment with the opening of the Pampanga Provincial Dialysis Center 1 on Friday, April 11.
Led by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, and PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco, the new facility aims to ease the burden on patients requiring regular dialysis sessions.

“Hindi lang pasilidad ang inihain natin, kundi pati ginhawa mula sa maintenance, pamasahe, at dagdag na gastos sa gamutan,” said Governor Pineda during the inauguration.

Funded by PAGCOR with P52.9 million for 43 dialysis machines and a water RO system, and by the DPWH with P29.3 million for the building, the center can serve over 120 patients daily from Monday to Saturday.
Each patient may receive up to 156 free sessions annually, with PhilHealth providing additional support. The facility’s operations are managed in partnership with B. Braun Philippines.

Four more dialysis centers are under construction, including sites in San Fernando and Apalit, set to open in the coming months.
The event was also attended by regional directors from DOH, DSWD, PhilHealth, and JBLMGH, along with local officials and health leaders who expressed full support for the initiative.
