CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Pampanga Police bagged the “Medalya ng
Kagalingan” award for the successful anti-criminality checkpoint
operations conducted in the province.
This was bared during the recent visit of Police Director General Oscar Albayalde here at Camp Olivas.
PNP Chief Albayalde and Regional Director P/Brigadier General Joel Napoleon Coronel awarded the medal to 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company led by P/Lieutenant Colonel Michael “Mike” Masangkay, Sta.
Rita Municipal Police Station led by P/Captain Leonardo Lacambra and Police Corporal Jake Herson Nartates.
The intensive monitoring of the policemen in line with the province’s
peace and order continuously decreased criminality in the region.
“Lahat po ng kapulisan dito sa kabilugan ng Pampanga ay ginagawa lahat
ng kanilang makakaya para sa patuloy na kaayusan sa probinsya,”
Masangkay said.
“Tinututukang mabuti ng lalawigan ang kaayusan at kapayapaan sa
pangunguna ng ating Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda at Vice Governor
Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda,” he added.
Last March 11, they seized several firearms of different calibers, one
euro 150 and honda motorcycles.
This led to an armed encounter resulting in the death of Edmar Lozano
and three others.
Moreover, Albayalde urged the policemen to continue doing their roles
in ensuring the peace and order in the community.
“Never let the bad cops overshadow the good deeds of the policemen.
Magtulungan tayong ipakita na ang isang pulis ay marangal, matapang at
masigasig,” the Police Director General added. “Patuloy nating labanan
ang krimen, karahasan at droga para sa kapayapaan at kaayusan ng
