The Pampanga Police Provincial Office paid tribute on November 8, 2024, to two long-serving officers, PLTCOL Arnel Lapira Sagun and PSSg Melisa Marzan Sena, during a retirement ceremony held at its headquarters. The event, called “Salamat Kapatid,” celebrated nearly three decades of service from Sagun and over two decades from Sena.
Pampanga Provincial Director, PCOL Jay C. Dimaandal, presented both officers with awards, certificates, and tokens of appreciation in recognition of their dedication to public service and contributions to the Philippine National Police (PNP). “Thank you, Kapatid, for your selfless service,” said Dimaandal, expressing gratitude on behalf of the PNP.
PLTCOL Sagun retires after 29 years, while PSSg Sena concludes 21 years of honorable service. Both retirements mark significant milestones within the PNP, with mandatory retirement at age 56 and optional retirement after 20 years of service. For the two honorees, the ceremony symbolized both a farewell and the start of new chapters.
