Pampanga police seize drugs, arrest suspects

In an intensified anti-crime drive, the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO), led by Police Colonel Jay C. Dimaandal, conducted a series of coordinated anti-drug operations on November 6 across Pampanga, leading to the arrest of nine individuals and the seizure of suspected shabu worth approximately PHP 541,300.

The largest operation took place in Mabalacat City, where officers executed a buy-bust targeting a 37-year-old from Santa Lucia Resettlement in Magalang. The operation resulted in the recovery of around 57 grams of suspected shabu, valued at PHP 387,600, delivering a significant strike against high-value drug networks in the area.

Additional raids across municipalities including Mexico, San Luis, Macabebe, the City of San Fernando, and Minalin led to the confiscation of over 22 grams of suspected shabu, marked money, a firearm, and ammunition. The series of arrests reinforces the PPO’s commitment to countering the illegal drug trade across the province.

Simultaneously, the Pampanga PPO apprehended four wanted individuals on separate charges, including violations of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, the Bouncing Checks Law, and estafa through document falsification. Arrests took place in Arayat, Mexico, and Bacolor, with bail amounts ranging from PHP 2,000 to PHP 36,000.

The suspects are currently in custody as further legal proceedings continue, highlighting the PPO’s sustained efforts in maintaining safety and upholding justice across Pampanga.
