The Medical City Clark and the Pampanga Press Club (PPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Wednesday to formally recognize the special affiliation of the media members including their dependents with the health institution.
The MOU offers benefits to the PPC members which include discounts on inpatient and outpatient services and coordination and facilitation of appointmentswithdoctors and specialty centers.
Through this special affiliation, TMC Clark also aims to establish and sustain a stronger partnership with PPC members with the conduct of health promotion activities like wellness events, mobile blood donation activities, preventive health checks, and other future programs.
“This is our way of welcoming the PPC as part of TMC Clark family,” Dr. Cenon R. Alfonso, president and chief executive officer of TMC Clark, said.
Meanwhile, TMC Clark sales and marketing director Evelyn Yumul said, “The main purpose of this affiliation is to let the PPC members and their dependents experience quality healthcare without leaving the province. This is because TMC Clark, a world-class tertiary hospital, is capable of delivering the highest quality of patient care to cater to the medical needs of the community in the fastest and most convenient way.”
It is also TMC Clark’s New Year’s gift toPPC members in appreciation of their support to the institution and expertise in delivering prompt, reliable, and balanced news.
“The best way to start the year is to take charge of our health. We are giving our partners, the PPC members and their dependents, the gift of good health to help them make 2017 a more productive year,” Yumul said.
