Pampanga Press Club (PPC), the longest running press club in the country, will celebrate its 69th founding anniversary on Tuesday, August 28 at the Hilltop Restaurant, Mimosa here.
The PPC’s 69th founding anniversary will coincide with iOrbitNews’ 2nd year anniversary. Induction of the newly elected officers led by its President Diosdado “Deng” Pangilinan will be the highlight of the event.
Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Pampanga Chapter President Atty. Ener Endona will be the inducting officer.
Meantime, iOrbitNews, a web-based news portal of the Pampanga Press Club, the country’s grandest press club established in 1949, will also celebrating its 2nd anniversary.
PPC is a collegial body comprising of the best and prolific journalists in Pampanga who serve as legitimate reporters, correspondents, stringers for various print and broadcast media outlets.
Other members, seasoned in time, have been elevated to a more senior role such as columnists or opinion writers, editors, publishers and even newspaper or station owners or managers.
With some of its multi-awarded members, PPC is highly regarded for its contributions not only in Pampanga but also in nation building through its vigilance on issues affecting various communities.
