Nearly 2,000 solo parents in Pampanga received government assistance on Thursday, September 4, 2025, during a distribution event at the Kingsborough International Convention Center in San Fernando City.
The initiative, spearheaded by Nanay Party-list Representative Florabel Yatco in partnership with Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, provided ₱5,000 cash aid, grocery packs, women’s essentials, and lifetime pneumonia vaccines.
Officials emphasized the program’s goal of supporting single parents who shoulder both parental roles while sustaining their families. The ceremony was attended by provincial leaders, DSWD officials, and representatives from PCSO.
