Titled “Parish Night 2025,” the event was attended by devotees, local government officials, and special guests, including former congressman and re-elected Mayor of Guiguinto, Hon. Rev. Fr. Norman Baldoz, the Parish Priest of the said shrine, led the celebration which highlighted the rich history of the parish, founded in 1994 and officially declared a Diocesan Shrine in 2023. Over the course of thirty years, the church has served as a spiritual sanctuary to thousands of devotees—not only from Guiguinto but from various parts of Bulacan and neighboring provinces.

Beyond being a center of faith, the Parish of St. Rita of Cascia is also recognized as one of the town’s key tourist destinations. Each year, it draws in the faithful, especially during Holy Week as part of the Visita Iglesia tradition. As the patroness of impossible causes, St. Rita continues to inspire hope and courage among Filipinos, particularly during times of great difficulty.

In an era of advanced technology, with the rise of Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation, the need to refocus on faith—especially among the youth—becomes ever more essential. This celebration serves as a reminder that amidst modern changes, our relationship with God remains the foundation of our identity and nationhood. In this light, faith is not only a personal journey but also a vital element in building a more humane, just, and progressive society.

In line with the Jubilee Year of the Catholic Church, Parish Night 2025 also provided an opportunity to remember and cherish our Christian faith as an integral part of the country’s history and culture. Events like this are not only moments of joy but also of remembrance—of where we came from, our hopes for the future, and our commitment to a more just and developed community.

The meaningful evening concluded with a message of unity, prayer, and deepened faith—a powerful reminder that at the heart of every progress and success lies the guidance of God and the enduring hope of the Filipino people.
