The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested five drug personalities in separate buy-bust operations in National Capital Region (NCR) and seized shabu worth P3.740 million.
PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino identified the suspects as Ali Salim y Datukan, alias Nash; Alsamer Yudop y Mohammad, alias Samer; Abdul y Managili, alias Aisa; Zainab Pamansag y Mundas, alias Nano; and Joel Undong y Sampayan, alias Jo.
At around 2:30 PM on September 7, 2019, elements of PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region (PDEA RO-NCR) under the supervision of Atty. George Paul L. Alcovindas, Officer-in-Charge, conducted a buy-bust operation at the vicinity of FTI Terminal Arca South, Western Bicutan, Taguig City that resulted in the arrest of Abdul, Pamansag and Undong and seizure of suspected shabu weighing more or less 500 grams, with an estimated value of Php3,400,000.00, and the buy-bust money.
Salim and Yusop were arrested during a buy-bust operation at around 4:10 PM on September 8, 2019 in front of Veris International Distribution, Incorporated in Kanlaon Street, Barangay Teresita, Quezon City. They yielded suspected shabu weighing more or less 50 grams, with an estimated value of Php340,000.00, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
