After an exhilarating all-terrain vehicle (ATV) ride, participants of the Philippine Experience Program (PEP) Central Luzon immersed themselves in the natural wonders of Puning Hot Spring in Porac, Pampanga, on Friday, December 13.
Nestled in the scenic landscapes shaped by Mount Pinatubo, the hot spring is co-managed by the local Aeta community. It features thermal pools with temperatures ranging from 40°C to 70°C, offering a rejuvenating experience for visitors.
Delegates, including members of the diplomatic corps, tourism leaders, Department of Tourism officials, media representatives, and influencers, enjoyed the signature sand spa and mud pack treatments. These treatments, made from volcanic materials, are renowned for their therapeutic benefits.
Puning Hot Spring is a testament to the harmonious integration of natural beauty, indigenous culture, and sustainable tourism, showcasing the region’s unique offerings to the world. The visit is part of PEP’s mission to highlight Central Luzon’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
