Philippine Air Force relocation project begins

Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) President and CEO Jojit Alcazar joined senior officials, including Defense Undersecretary Salvador Melchor Mison Jr., at today’s groundbreaking ceremony for the Philippine Air Force (PAF) Relocation Site Project in New Clark City.

The 65-hectare development aims to provide a new home for PAF operations, in line with Republic Act No. 7227, which empowers the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to repurpose former U.S. military bases into centers of economic growth and support the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ modernization efforts.

Also present were BCDA Chairperson Atty. Hilario Paredes, BCDA President and CEO Jake Bingcang, Philippine Air Force Commanding General Lt. Gen. Stephen Parreño, Bamban Mayor Leonardo Anunciacion, and Clark Development Corporation President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, among other key officials.
