Philippine Airlines (PAL) recently hosted prestigious awards ceremonies for top travel partners from all over the Philippines and around the world, hailing these top agents for their exemplary contributions to global tourism and the Philippine flag carrier’s business success.
PAL marked a milestone by staging back-to-back PAL Awards Philippines and PAL Awards International events last March 3 to 7, 2025 at the Discovery Samal Resort in Davao City – the first time in PAL’s 84-year history that both local and overseas travel agents were feted in one venue.
The 2025 PAL Awards events, the latest of a series of annual gatherings that celebrate the airline’s ongoing collaboration with prime stakeholders in the travel industry, were graced by PAL’s most valued travel partners, special guests, top airline executives, and members of PAL’s international sales force.

Focusing on local partners, the PAL Awards Philippines ceremonies on March 3 and 4 drew in over 150 participants representing 54 travel agents and service companies. The agents received performance awards and were treated to product presentations delivered by Honorable Tanya Rabat-Tan, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region XI as well as PAL executives led by Salvador Britanico, Jr., VP for Sustainability and Strategy, and Alvin Miranda, VP for Marketing.
On March 5 and 6, the global PAL Awards International event honored over 150 participants representing 95 travel companies from PAL sales districts in North America, Oceania, East Asia and the Middle East, as well from Europe, India and other territories.
An exclusive networking event allowed overseas partners and local industry leaders to explore new opportunities for promoting leisure and business travel to the Philippines, with PAL’s worldwide network of nonstop flights facilitating connectivity and travel convenience.

“Our success in connecting global citizens and Filipinos to the places and people that matter is the product of a strong collaboration with our travel agency partners around the world,” said PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng. “To our partners, we honor you for your commitment and unwavering support, and we are grateful for your dedication and trust which lift up Philippine Airlines to soar higher every year.”
PAL’s top travel awardees were also given an exclusive tour of Davao in partnership with DOT Region XI, showcasing key tourist attractions such as the Philippine Eagle Center, Malagos Garden Resort and Chocolate Museum, and the Poblacion Market.
The annual PAL Awards celebrations highlight the flag carrier’s appreciation for its key partners, fostering a spirit of excellence and productive collaboration that supports the promotional efforts of the Philippines’ only full-service airline, ultimately boosting economic growth and a healthy tourism industry.
