Iba, Zambales – Participants from different agencies joins a bamboo seedlings planting activity as they celebrate Philippine Bamboo Month at the President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) campus in Botolan, Zambales on Monday, September 12.
The activity aims to raise awareness on the importance of bamboo as an economic and environmental resources and its development as an industry.
The activity, spearheaded by the Zambales Bamboo Development Council, was joined by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Zambales Director Enrique D Tacbad, Zambales Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) head Director Marife Castillo, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Provincial Director Didith Montevirgen, and PRMSU Campus Director Rene Regaspi.
