The Philippines, through the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), concluded a successful participation at the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2025 with PHP 151,872,799.98 in sales leads. The TPB and participating tourism stakeholders promoted the country from April 4 to 6 at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore during Asia’s longest-running and largest dive expo, with over 49,900 trade and consumer attendees.
For the fourth year in a row, the Philippines proudly reclaimed the title of Official Country Partner for the event. This year’s delegation spotlighted the exceptional dive offerings of five premier destinations: Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Bohol, Cebu, and Negros Oriental. The highlight of the Philippine booth was a captivating dive tunnel which vividly showcased the regions’ underwater splendor—from the vibrant tapestry of coral reefs and protected marine sanctuaries to the thrilling encounters of pelagic sightings.

“The Philippines’ consistent presence at ADEX reflects our unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable dive tourism and strengthening our position as one of the world’s most biodiverse marine destinations. Beyond showcasing world-class Philippine dive products, the TPB and the Philippine delegation share a profound mission to foster heightened awareness, unwavering support, and dynamic discussion on the critical conservation of our precious marine resources,” said TPB Manager of International Promotions Department, Ms. Marivic Sevilla, on behalf of Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles.

Representing the Philippines were 24 co-exhibitors who featured diving offerings, accommodations, liveaboards, and tour packages. The delegates represented Southern Tagalog, MIMAROPA, Central Visayas, Western Visayas, the Municipality of Malay, Aklan, and the Department of Tourism Regional Office VII, showcasing the diverse diving destinations within the country.
Scuba diving instructor and ocean sustainability advocate Vanessa Vergara also joined the event to share her insights and extensive experience in the Philippines’ dive scene. Her engaging presentation traced her journey across the archipelago, highlighting the unique macro and micro photography opportunities within each destination, and articulating the many reasons divers love the Philippines.

During the three-day event, the delegation engaged in consumer selling, onsite promotions, and showcased the Travel Philippines app through activations and booth activities. Relaunched in October 2024, Travel Philippines is a multifunction mobile platform that offers curated travel content and exclusive deals designed for all types of travelers and adventure seekers, including special promotions for diving.
ADEX has long served as a key platform for major industry players, traders, and distributors in the diving community to convene, collaborate, and forge partnerships. As a neutral space for knowledge-sharing and business exchange, ADEX has been instrumental in advancing the global dive industry. The Philippines has proudly been contributing to its ongoing growth by participating in ADEX every year.
