Philippine ecozones showcased at Messe Nagoya 2024

In a bid to strengthen the reputation of Philippine economic zones and attract foreign investment, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Osaka, Subic Clark Alliance for Development, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Poro Point Management Corporation, and Filinvest Land participated in Messe Nagoya 2024, one of Japan’s largest cross-industry trade fairs.

At the event, the BCDA promoted flagship infrastructure projects along the Luzon Economic Corridor and highlighted investment prospects in New Clark City. Key among these was the Filinvest Innovation Park, a 120-hectare industrial zone collaboratively developed by BCDA and Filinvest Land, designed to attract tech and manufacturing companies.

The delegation engaged in business-to-business meetings with potential Japanese investors and the Central Japan Economic Federation, an influential economic group representing nearly 800 companies and institutions in Central Japan. This engagement aims to foster stronger investment ties and bolster the presence of Philippine ecozones on the international stage.
