Isang makabuluhang photo exhibit na tinawag na “Photo Exhibition of China-Philippines Cooperation Achievements” ang isinagawa sa AUF Sports and Cultural Center, Angeles University Foundation Main Campus sa Angeles City, Pampanga nitong Biyernes, (May 20, 2022).
Ang naturang exhibit ay binansagan din na “Friendship Bridge Span Millenia, China-Philippines Friendship Remains Ever Stronger” na binuo sa pangunguna ng Chinese Embassy sa Pilipinas at ng Federation of Fil-Chinese Association of The Philippines Foundation, Inc. (FFCAP).
Dumalo sa naturang event upang pangunahan ang opening ceremony ng nasabing photo exhibit sina Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian ng Embassy of the People’s Republic of China sa bansa; Minister Counselor Yang Guoliang; Counselor Xie Yonghui; Counselor Xiong Sheng; Secretary Jacinto V. Paras, Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs; former Congressman Harry Angping; Joseph Emmanuel L. Angeles, Angeles University Foundation/President and President Yang Huahong of the Federation of Fil-Chinese Association of The Philippines Foundation.
Tampok sa nasabing okasyon ay ang “friendly cooperation” sa pagitan ng bansang China at Pilipinas sa paghahangad ng karaniwang pagpapaunlad at pagsulong sa nakalipas na 6-taon.
Dumalo rin dito ang mga embassy personnel, employees of Chinese enterprises in the Philippines, members of the Chinese community, teachers and students of the Confucius Institute sa Angeles University, local Chinese teachers and students from the Chinese language program of the Philippine Ministry of Education.
Bukod sa photo exhibition, ang mga bisita ay nag-enjoy din sa panonood ng product and service exhibition ng walong Chinese enterprises in the Philippines.
Ang mga VIPs ay sinalubong ng welcome performance song ng University Art Troupe.
Sa kaniyang mensahe sinabi ni Ambassador Huang na sa hinaharap ay handa na ang China na makipagtulungan sa Pilipinas para sa pakikipagmabutihan at pakikipagkaibigan bilang mga kalapit-bansa.
“In the future, China is ready to continue to work with the Philippine side to deepen practical cooperation and further advance the comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship between the two countries, as to bring more benefits to the two peoples,” ayon kay Ambassador Xilian.
Parte pa rin ng nasabing event ay ang ceremonial donation ng produkto para sa unibersidad mula sa Chinese enterprises sa Pilipinas kung saan nagbigay sina Guo Zhi, COO ng Huawei Philippines, at Zhang Chaohao, CMO ng ZTE Philippines ng dalawang television sets at sampung mobile phones para sa Angeles University Foundation na sinaksihan nina Ambassador Huang at Minister Counselor Guoliang.
Nagtungo rin ang mga VIP guests sa kabilang unibersidad para isagawa naman ang ribbon-cutting ceremony para sa refurbishment and completion ng Confucius Institute sa University of Angeles na 300 metro ang layo mula sa Angeles University Foundation.
