PH’s first Wyndham Garden to rise in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT — In a bid to enhance its hospitality offerings, this
Freeport commenced construction for a new international brand hotel and
resort facility.

Leading the capsule laying and groundbreaking ceremonies were CDC President
and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, Microtel by Wyndham General Manager
Donna Ravina, and Wyndham Corporate Architect Luis Nacpil. This marks the
beginning of construction for the first Wyndham Garden in the country.

Expressing optimism, Atty. Devanadera emphasized the project’s potential to
elevate the Freeport’s status as a preferred tourist destination.

With a committed investment of P979 million, the Wyndham Garden project is
expected to generate employment for 209 individuals, thereby contributing
to the local economy. Spanning 5,000 sq. meters along C.M. Recto Highway,
the facility will boast a 15-floor structure with 176 suite rooms,
lifestyle amenities, and conference spaces tailored for Meetings,
Incentives, Conventions and Exhibits (MICE) events.

Also present at the ceremony were other CDC officials including Atty.
Noelle Mina Meneses, Vice President for Business Development and Business
Enhancement Group; Jose Miguel de la Rosa, Vice President for
Administration and Finance; PMGen. Lina Sarmiento (Ret.), Vice President
for Security Services Group; Ma. Zoraida Camello, Special Assistant to the
President and CEO; along with Arch. Joseph Zapata from Wyndham.

properties, operates approximately 9,200 hotels across over 95 countries on
six continents. Some of the renowned brands under Wyndham’s 25-hotel
portfolio include Microtel, Hawthorn Suites, Baymont, Super 8, Ramada
